Hawaii 2016 Comic Diary, Barong and Rangda, Sketchbook Megapdf!!

This winter (first two weeks of January) I traveled to Hawaii for a comics workshop study abroad opportunity. This totally free and totally excellent PDF contains the two final comics I created from my time there, plus a small snippet of the sketches I created there! 

Comic #1 is a segment of the story of Barong and Rangda, two Balinese spirits. The dance of Barong and Rangda is an amazing sight to see. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barong_(mythology)

Comic #2 is a small comic diary of my time in Hawaii, mostly chronicling the 6 am coffee walks I took almost every day. That quiet morning time is something I would never, ever, take back. Looking at my surroundings, noticing small little details that were so different from my cold Minnesota home - it was wonderful. 

The sketch section is just a small portion of my sketchbook, but contains some of my favorite sketches.
